Located on 1st Avenue SW, the D-Town Plaza Skatepark is a state-of-the-art multi-use recreational facility for all abilities and types of wheeled users to gather and share experiences.
The planning and development of the park began in 2009 after a public meeting to consolidate community interest and the establishment of a committee. Costing more than half a million dollars, the park was made possible by generous donations from the Province of Manitoba and many community organizations and individuals.
The City of Dauphin maintains a high-resolution surveillance system that monitors the D-Town Plaza Skatepark and live images of the park are uploaded to the City of Dauphin's website every 60 seconds. The City of Dauphin will also provide high-resolution video footage to the RCMP at their request.
